Recently, we have designed a new hollow iron to include in the Grindworks collection. In fact, we have been making hollow irons as the INB-314H model of our Saqra brand for the American market for eight years. Although this is a model that we already have experience developing, there was some resistance to adding it to Grindworks’ original concept of clubs for intermediate and advanced players.
One of the instructors I’m close with told me that there have been a lot of requests lately for irons that will give more distance even for intermediate and advanced golfers, so I decided to move forward because I was encouraged to develop one.
The advantages of hollow irons are;
1. A high trajectory can be obtained.
2. Increases flight distance.
3. High tolerance for mis-hits.
